About the tunnels
Located beneath the cliffs of Darwin city, a short walk from the city centre and the Esplanade this exciting tourist facility is self guided. Your well informed tour guide provides historical information relating to the concept of the tunnels. The WWII Tunnels these days feature a photographic display of Darwin during WWII including photographs of the brave men and women who served in the protection of our great country.
2015 marks 100 years since the ANZAC Gallipoli landing. In conjunction with this occasion new interpretation boards have been installed to enhance visitors knowledge on the construction and difficulties faced by the Allied Works Forces during the Second World War.
2017 was the 75th Commemorative Anniversary of the Bombing of Darwin. WWII Tours conducted by the Tour Tub are now available!
